Come Join the Crystal Lake Chamber of Commerce’s
“Green Business Task Force”
Mission
To inspire and help businesses, civic, and government entities
become environmentally aware of sustainable practices and money
saving technologies while positively impacting our environment.
Goals

Create and present green business tools and opportunities to
educate businesses.

Encourage green practices while enhancing chamber membership.

Support environmentally sustainable building expansions and
developments.
Process:
We will reach out to businesses and
organizations, create awareness of current environmental problems,
suggest possible solutions, and then encourage and enable
businesses and organizations to institute the sustainable changes.
The group’s credibility is
established by being under the auspices of the Crystal Lake
Chamber and by the collective expertise that we each bring to the
table.
Group
member expectations:
-
Be a Crystal Lake Chamber of
Commerce member

Attend meetings regularly
-
Help educate the group in your
area of expertise
-
Actively participate in one of
the group’s subcommittees
-
Invite and bring potential new
members to the group
-
Keep current with group dues -
($50 for the first quarter of each year, and $35 for the
remainder.)
Meetings are held on the
first and third Tuesdays of the month at 8:30 am at the Crystal
